Day 18: Parzán to Pleta d'Añes Cruces
About 27km, just over 1800m elevation gain.
A pretty long day with an easy start walking gradually up along a dirt road. I chatted and walked with two French ladies in their 70's completing the HRP!
The track then steepend and crossed the Col and passed a lake where I had lunch. Soon after, it descended sharply and I walked for much of the next section with a couple also completing the GR11 pictured below. We grabbed a coke from a refugio, and then I continued on while they rested and I did another 5km and ascent to an amazing valley where I camped with a bunch of other GR11 hikers, meeting one girl who was heading East to West.
