Day 32: Riu d'Engait to Puigcerdà

22km, 900m elevation gain.

After a night of hailstorms and fevers I wasn’t really feeling great, but luckily after a steep ascent the rest of the day was easy. The air was hazy and smoky, I guessed maybe the lightning struck a tree and started a fire, as happened earlier on the trip apparently.

I hiked a lot of the downhill with L who caught up with me around lunch time. I had planned on staying in a camp-site here in town but after almost no sleep and still feeling feverish and myalgic, I have lashed out for a cheap hostal for a good night sleep with the hope that I will feel better and continue tomorrow.
