Day 26: Tavascan to Areu

16km, 1500m elevation gain.

A really cracking day today! Made really good progress and much of the ascent was in beautiful pine forest which smelled amazing and made the walking much easier. Got to Areu around 2pm, to pitch our tents at a private campground and have the best shower of the trip so far (hot, amazing water pressure). Then walked into town for a traditional Catalan meal at a restaurant that was excellent and way too filling for lunch. Just chilling out in the campground restaurant using the wifi to update the blog and plan the next part of the trip.
