Today was a rest day; the first of the trip. Lazily got around to shopping for groceries and bought myself a new hat (the flap at the back was lost off my old legionnaire's cap). Spent lunch and dinner with Josh, a really cool German guy who I had met a few days prior - we will aim to start hiking early tomorrow and I probably will be out of reception for at least 2 days, possibly as many as 5.
