After thinking more about the pros and cons of taking a camera on a long distance thru-hike, I have decided to bring the aforementioned Sony A7RII (which has arrived back to Tasmania in full functional order) with the 35mm prime. I think though that during the trip I will stick to posting photos from my phone as the ability to edit and process photos with the mirrorless on a mobile is pretty limited.

Maybe when I get back home after the adventure, I will go back through the blog and replace my mobile phone photos with processed images from the Sony.
