Day 2: Ippara Txiki Berri to Bera

Today was my first full day of hiking and my plan was to leave early before it got hot, as there is a heat wave currently hitting Spain. I left my guesthouse at about 6am and made good progress through most of the day - about 25km all up, and about 800m elevation gain. I had planned on resting in Bera for a few hours and then tackling another couple of km into tomorrow's walk but the weather is just sweltering so I've decided to stay in an inn here and try for an even earlier morning tomorrow. Tomorrow is a huge day early in the hike - maybe around 30km to Elizondo, and probably about 1300m elevation gain. I really want to get going around 5am to make the most of the cool.
